What to bring on the day
To support a deeply nourishing experience, you’re warmly invited to bring along a journal and pen for reflective writing. You may also wish to bring a blanket, a small pillow, and a yoga mat if you’d prefer to lie down during meditations. These are optional, and you’re encouraged to bring whatever helps you feel most comfortable, relaxed, and at ease.
Wisdom would also encourage us to arrive prepared for the Irish weather! Therefore, pack a rain jacket and factor 50 sun cream.

Hilary Connor, MSc
Mindfulness Teacher • Spiritual Wellbeing Coach • Author

Hilary Connor is a highly qualified and compassionate mindfulness teacher and wellbeing coach with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals in finding inner peace, clarity, and renewal. She brings a unique blend of academic rigour and spiritual depth to her work, creating spaces that are both grounded and soul-nourishing.
Hilary holds a Master of Science in Mindfulness-Based Wellbeing, a Higher Diploma in Coaching and Coaching Psychology from UCC, and advanced certifications in teaching mindfulness in the workplace, workplace resilience from Oxford University, UK & UCC, along with certifications in neuroscience and spiritual healing. Her teaching is grounded in evidence-based mindfulness and coaching practices, enriched by a deep, intuitive understanding of the human spirit.
As the facilitator of The Reflective Soul, Hilary invites you to experience a day of gentle restoration through mindful meditation, reflective journaling, spiritual connection, and creative inner exploration. Her calm presence and skillful guidance will support you in pressing pause, reconnecting with yourself, and reclaiming peace.

Co-Facilitator: Denis O’Connor
Psychotherapist • Supervisor • Facilitator

Denis brings over 20 years of experience in psychotherapy, supervision, and training to The Reflective Soul, adding a grounded and insightful presence to the retreat space. Working in private practice, he has supported individuals and professionals across a wide range of life experiences, always with a focus on empowering sustainable personal growth and emotional wellbeing.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Supervisory Practice from Dublin City University and a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University. In addition, Denis is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management, Sports Mind Coaching, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
At The Reflective Soul, Denis brings a calm, insightful energy that complements the retreat’s restorative focus. His wealth of clinical expertise and deep understanding of the human psyche enrich the reflective and therapeutic aspects of the day, offering retreat participants a safe and supported space for deeper inner awareness and integration.
His facilitation style is gentle, wise, and responsive, helping participants feel seen, grounded, and held — whether they come seeking renewal, clarity, or simply time to reconnect with themselves.
